Morning Papers - who needs caffine to get the heart pumping

First a caveat. Don't know if this is the correct way to add a link but if not, I'm sure someone far more computer literate than I will clue me in.

Ah, the morning papers are such a great way to start the day. Mr. Duncan, the stand off in Hayden and now Mr. Tuggle - I hope the folks around here who snicker because we lock the doors of the house when we're working in the back 40 and lock the doors of our car no matter where will realize that maybe it's actually prudent - not just because we can't shake having lived in the big city. Heck we won't even leave the dog unattended if we're running errands. He's either with us or in the house. Don't test it. He's bigger than you.

As for comparing Lake Tahoe to Coeur d'Alene - yes, they are trying to protect their mountain jewel. We're living with our collective heads in the silt knowing the EPA wants to do a clean up. Isn't that why all those logs can't be salvaged - because of the toxic sediment that would be disturbed?

...and so it goes...
