WA HA HA ha hahahahahaha!

Big Fork, MT Thursday, Aug.31, 2006 2:15 p.m. Note the white patch in the gravel.

Right you are. That white stuff is SNOW! We followed the black cloud up Flathead Lake as we travelled north on Rt. 83. It opened up just as we hung a left to head into Big Fork. A summer resident from Atlanta in the wine shop was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning. The temperature dropped at least 20 degrees in minutes!

It reminded me of spring storms that occur frequently in the Northeast. Thunder and lightening shaking the ground beneath you and snowing like crazy. Only this is the end of summer. In Montana. Right next door.

So as we gird up for another few days in the 90+ degree range I thought you'd like a reminder of what's a comin' round the mountain!

Snow, beautiful snow. I an actually hoping for snow this winter. We don't have a lot of snow, but some years we get iced in for severl days. Now that I'm retired, I like it.

I like this post Dogwalk -- It has been fairly hot for Idaho. I keep coming back here to cool down.
