Beware Of Wolves In Sheep's Clothing

I'm not sure if this man is truly dangerous or just doesn't get it. I do know he's going to have a tough time convincing me he's worthy of the Presidency.

He's anti abortion, anti gay marriage, and pro government intervention in all aspects of our lives. His tax proposal would put a huge burden on the poor who for the time being don't pay taxes. His foreign policy insight is lacking to say the least.

Yes. He is affable, articulate, has nice dimples and plays a mean bass guitar. Perhaps that's where it should end.

His suggestion the constitution should be changed to correspond with God's law is way beyond acceptable. Separation of church and state. Hello? I don't think it would ever pass muster in any Congress but the very idea that he is putting this forward in campaign speeches disturbs me.

I cannot help but think that were he elected, he would expend a tremendous amount of effort to bring the country under the umbrella of his personal religious convictions. It would be the antithesis of the very foundations on which this country was founded!

You ain't heard nuthin' yet. How would you like to have to tell people he was the governor of your state? There is absolutely no gift that he will consider unethical, whether it be money or clothing, etc. He had a closet-full of expensive suits "donated" by one of our wealthier citizens, and didn't see anything wrong with taking money from his PAC. When they renovated the Gov's mansion, he thought all the furnishings, etc., belonged to him, personally, and said so in front of people who set him straight. The man is very thin-skinned, which will probably become apparent as the campaing heats up and he starts losing more. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

I hope you're in your 20's so that in 50 years you can look back and say "wow, I missed it. We continually elect an official on hype and promises, which were always broken because we wouldn't take the time to check the fruit of a person’s political career. Now we have the fruit of our choices affecting our children and theirs. Sadly I admit when I grew up it was in a time of great technology where information was at my finger tips constantly to investigate people and issues but I bought into media and hype..." I am ashamed of what 200 years has done to this country - how we have slipped into the state of apathy and that has been the beginning of the end of any great civilization, go study and find it out yourself.
