Ahhh, this was one of those near perfect fall days. Dog and I chatted with a neighbor cleaning up in his yard and ended up with a dozen or so corn stalks for decoration. Went to get a haircut and came home with a scarecrow from Michaels.
After lunch went to retrieve the corn stalks and some gourds from another neighbor. Stopped to visit with a new neighbor when we noticed yet another with 3 new pets - Alpacas. Turns out the neighbor had bought the house of the old neighbors best friends. They had a great chat.
The kids and I visited. They're home schoolers and the greatest kids you could want to meet. The Alpacas are as cute as they can be. Bacchus was polite.
No politics, no gossip - just plain good neighborliness. All in all a great day.
