Last night as I was reading Huckleberries, I wondered, all of a sudden, how your dog was doing...I know from experience that it's awful to lose a pet. I imagine you feel like you've got a hole in your heart right now. Bacchus, in Dog Years, was 70, right? He's in that big doghouse in the sky now. Perhaps when enough time has passed, you'll be able to make room for another walking partner. Take care...
I am so sorry about Bacchus. I was so in hopes he would be able to overcome his health problems. I am sure you will miss him greatly.
