The monster tree is now down and out, the pine needles vacuumed up and the furniture back in it's proper place. Yesterday I got my first seed catalog of the season. Huckleberries wonders if this warm spell and the inability of our local weather experts to get it right has to do with global warming.I've had to do a gopher search and destroy mission already but out here on the Prairie the rule of thumb is to not put your bedding plants in until the snow has disappeared from the top of Rathdrum Hill. Yeah, I know it's called Rathdrum Mountain but no self respecting wife of a Montanan is going to call it that!
Let's see how fast that snow level climbs!

when the snow is gone off Baldy, then we know it might be safe to plant.... lol..but not tomatoes...
