I was playing on my computer Friday afternoon when the phone rang. It was my neighbor asking if I could come over - right away. They had something for me. Sure, no problem.
Being the end of summer I was expecting a batch of zucchini or some such.
But no. It was a gift from my favorite up and coming artist. A water color of Bacchus. He caught him perfectly. I absolutely love it and wanted to share it.
Water color. A very difficult medium. The artist? Twelve years old. What's not to love?

And having met this young man... it isn't surprising. Truly a treasure for a life time.
It took me a minute to see Bacchus. Awesome is right!
