What A Pill!

We're at Washington State today for a check up and if all is well Bacchus will have a heart monitor placed under his skin to better keep track of what is and is not happening.

It also marks the one month anniversary of when this all began. All in all he's had a pretty good one. And of course, we're just happy we still have him. It's still touch and go. Sometimes he wants to eat, other times he doesn't but you'll see in the video he was happy to oblige me on Monday when I shot it. I'm taking you at your word, my friends, when you tell me you want to be a part of this!

I'll catch up with you sometime over the week end to let you know how things went.

I'm chuckling, having done this with big and little dogs. What a face, and yes, we are interested and we care. One of my big dogs had 4 teeth extracted leaving him with a very sore mouth. I surely did not want to give his pills by holding his mouth open and putting them down his throat in the usual way. So I came up with putting the pill in a marshmallow. Tasted good and no strain on his mouth. Bacchus can chew, but he might injoy the marshmallow method for a sweet treat. CU

he is a good boy, what a trooper... of course it helps with hot dogs... lol
my mother's dog would put the meat in his mouth, switch it around in his mouth and then spit out the pill... it was back to the drawing board..lol..

Bacchus is so wonderful, I can see why you love him so much.

I enjoyed the video and hope you'll do a lot more of them. I hope you get good news in Washington and look forward to next week to hearing how he's doing.

My little dog weighs 9 pounds and the vet wants him to lose a pound or so. He's be a snack for Bacchus.

Did you make a mistake? More pills! Not horrible old sausages!
