Our President tells us we are fighting terrorists in Iraq so we don't have to fight them here. Well, we are fighting at least one here - Mother Nature. Think about it - it's an uneasy parallel. Anyone who has faced a hurricane, tornado, flash flood, earthquake or forest fire knows terror. And the terrorist? Mother Nature.
The most frightening aspect of it is that our protection mechanism under Secretary Chertoff has fallen far short. If this shows the effectiveness of Homeland Security we better hope and pray human terrorists aren't taking note!
